First Amendment survey update

I just came across a post on jprof.com that adds some context to the horrifying survey of high school students' attitudes about the First Amendment. Jim Stovall points out that surveys of the American population as a whole show similar results. So it seems the country as a whole doesn't understand the importance of the First Amendment. That makes me feel... a whole lot worse.
